Driving arrests and road fatalities this past weekend

This past weekend in the Western Cape province, yet another round of roadblocks were held. Western Cape traffic Chief Kenny reported that 24 took place across the province. 1700 vehicles were stopped and 1260 drivers were tested for alcohol. Kenny Africa explains:

“We arrested 18 drunk drivers, the highest reading was nearly 5 times over the legal limit. We also arrested one taxi driver and impounded his vehicle”


Mean while four people have been killed on Cape Town Roads this weekend.
