The DA will write to the public Protector to ask her to investigate the council for Medical Schemes and Medicover Medical scheme.

DA shadow minister Wilmot James said the DA has reason to believe that up to R65 million of ordinary South Africans medical contributions were used for individual self-interest which has effectively compromised the healthcare of many South Africans.

James explains…
“What we have done is asking the Public Protector to investigate the number of elements we had suggested that this is corruption and therefore its certainly deserved to be publicly investigated.

James says “I have written to Advocate Thuli Madonsela to please start considering investigating the matter”
