Girl, 13, knocked over by taxi driver

 A 13-year-old girl has died in Bishop Lavis after she was knocked over by a taxi early today.

The girl was believed to be on her way to school when she was knocked over.


Cape Town Traffic Services’ spokesperson Richard Coleman added that “At proximately 07h00 this morning on 35th street in Lavis drive in Bishop Lavis we had a taxi that knocked down a 13-year-old little girl and was deceased on the scene (sic). The driver has been arrested and taken to the police station.”
