8 Children died in a Fire, Durban

Eight people have died in a fire at the Key of Hope orphanage in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Services confirmed on this morning.

Children were among the deceased and some were as young as 8-years-old.

Four people were injured and hospitalised.

Kwa-Zulu Natal EMS said it received the call about the fire at the home in Parlock, Durban, at about 02:24AM this morning.


The cause of the fire is not yet known.
