2 women and 4 children injured in a collision this morning

Two women and four children were injured this morning in a collision between a car and bakkie in Georgedale Road in Cato Ridge.

ER24 spokepserson Chitra Bodasing explains….

“ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found a boy believed to be 3-years old was ejected from the car. Paramedics assessed him and found out he sustained moderate injuries.”

She says “He’s mother who is believed to be 14-weeks pregnant was assessed and found to have sustained minor injuries. A woman and three boys believed to be 5-years old were travelling with the bakkie also sustained minor injuries.”


The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
