City implemented a MyCiTi bus night service

As from today, the City of Cape Town has implemented a MyCiTi night service in Atlantis, as well as twelve additional bus stops along the feeder eoutes in Marme and Sherwood.

In a statement issued, the City says it is also heartened by the exceptional uptake of the MyCiTi service in Atlantis over the past eighteen months.

City’s Mayoral Member for Transport, Brett Herron says “A night service with bus operating from 21:00 to 23:00 is implemented along three routes.

He says…

“Firstly, to Saxonsea, Protea Park and Avondale, and then from Atlantis to Protea Park, Robinvale, Beacon Hill and Sherwood. The third route from Atlantis to Marme and Pella.”
