DA: funding crisis a denial for poor students to have a better

The Democratic Alliance has called the Minister of higher education Blade Nzimande’s funding crisis a denial for poor students to have a better future.

The DA believes the negative impact these increases will have for students exists on all campuses.

The DA’s Georgina Alexander says “The DA believes its high time the Minister Blade Nzimande, the Treasury to hold government and government itself take heed of the call for the fight of action to increase the funding available both to students and university and this will ensure that no students are left behind.”
