Winde delivered debate on Agribusiness

On Friday, Western Cape MEC for Economic Opportunities delivered an address at the Farmbiz Power Debate on Agribusiness in Africa.

Winde said, by 2030, the continent’s population is set to double and 50% of this expanding population will be living in cities.

He said it is evident that Africa is emerging as a powerful economic force. Spokesperson for the MEC, Bronwynne Jooste explained that , The Western Cape growth strategy project Khulisa also details our action plan to partner with African countries in strategic sectors such as Tourism, Oil and Gas and Agri processing.”


She says “Earlier this year the Premier and the Minister conducted an official trade and promotion visit to Angola which paved the way within Angola and South African business and Minister Winde has also stressed that Africa’s continued progress and prosperity depends on partnership.”
