Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an
accident scene on the N2 south bound between Ballito and Tongaat in KwaZulu
Natal after twelve people were injured after a minibus overturned.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann
said upon their arrival on scene they found that the minibus had come to a
standstill back on its wheels on the side of the road following the roller.
“Upon assessment of all the occupants of
the minibus, it was found that twelve people sustained injuries ranging from
moderate to serious
All the injured patients were treated on scene
before they were transported to various hospitals for further medical care.”
Steinmann added.
Exact details to the cause of the accident
will remain the subject of a police investigation.
