Western Cape Department of Education ready for National Senior Certificate Examinations

Western Cape Department of Education said it is ready for the National Senior Certificate Examinations.

49 271 Grade 12 learners will be writing their final exams in a weeks’ time and Grade 3, 6 and 9 learners will be writing systemic assessments tests in language and mathematics. 

Exams in the province will be written at 438 examinations centers. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Jessica Shelver said we encourage all our candidates for the 2014 NSC examinations to stay focused and to put in the hard work required to prepare for the upcoming examinations.

Shelver said Matric candidates can view a wide range of matric revision videos on our YouTube channel. They provide guidance on how to tackle specific questions in the exams. The tips for success booklet and support videos can be found on the website.
 
Shelver said Minister Schäfer would also like to thank all the educators, family members and care givers for their support thus far.
