AIDC calling for the financial affairs of Lonmin to be investigated

The Alternative Information Development Centre has called on police to investigate the financial affairs of Lonmin.

This is after the AIDC alleges that the company is shifting and moving its money out of South Africa. AIDC Director Brian Ashley said the company claimed that the longest and most damaging strike was unaffordable.

Ashley said the shifting of money has been at the expense of its workers being paid a decent living wage.

“We are calling on the South African Revenue Services to investigate the entire financial affairs of Lonmin which are in dispute” Ashley added.
