The Congress of the People said in a statement issued, that all students who seeks admittance to a university should declare not to revert to violence, rampage, arson or vandalism.

COPE spokesperson Dennis Bloem said, those who fail to uphold that commitment must be deregistered.

Bloem explained that the majority of students who conducted themselves becomingly and intelligently achieved their objectives admirably by acting in solidarity with one another.

“Students who destroyed property and acted illegally, shamed everybody.”  Said Bloem

Bloem called on University’s to prosecute these students and also remarked that their friends should disown them.
