Government commits to open new markets in South Africa

The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Mzwandile Masina says the South African government is committed to assisting companies open new markets around the world.

Masina was speaking to a group of South African business people during a briefing session held at the South African embassy in Cuba.

Departmental spokesperson Sidwell Medupe explained that the group comprises of exporters, who will be exhibiting their products and services In the Havana International Trade Fair from today, as well as investors who will participate in the investment mission that will take place on the margins of the fair.


“In a short space of time we have taken business delegations to Sweden, Mexico, Iran and Cuba because as Government we are committed to opening new market opportunities.” Medupe said.
