The fight over construction of the Chapman’s Peak Toll Plaza and offices is now heading to court.

Lawyers representing the Hout Bay Residents drew up an interdict to stop the progress of the R54 million project.

However at the building site workers where starting to cut the trees down to make way for the building to begin.

The builders had to work around two protesters from Houtbay who were finally removed by police.

The association's lawyer Greg Daniels said they were in the final stages of drafting the papers against the construction.
