Government seems to be determined not to scrap labour broking. Labour Minister Mildred Oliphant addressed a briefing on a Cabinet meeting in Pretoria today.
She said her department would be implementing the regulation of labour brokers.
This follows a nationwide strike by Cosatu calling for the ban of the practice.
Oliphant says the new regulation will ensure that temporary workers are treated fairly by companies that use labour brokers.
