The Congress of the People has called on government intensify its fight against unemployment, nyaope and crime.

This follows a R3 billion drug lab bust earlier this week in Kloof. Cope said the illicit trafficking of drugs, women, firearms, cigarettes, and medicines by highly organised criminal groups and networks is a major problem afflicting our country.

Cope Spokesperson Dennis Bloem said government not go for small fishes while there are big fishes so that we root out these drugs once and for all.

Bloem added that Cope is fully behind the fight against drugs and we support the police in this fight against drugs.
