Potchefstroom man in critical condition after losing control of vehicle

A man has sustained critical injuries after he lost control of his vehicle on Ventersdorp road about 30 km from Potchefstroom early today.

 “When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene they found that the car had veered off the road and rolled several metres away from the road. the driver, who was ejected from the vehicle, was found lying face down several ,metres away.” ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.

“Paramedics assessed the man believed to be in his 20s and founs that that he was in a critical condition. He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.” She added.


The reason behind the accident is not yet clear but local authorities were present to investigate.
