The Western Cape Community Policing Board said the investigation into a triple murder in Macassar needed to be prioritised.

Security guards deployed in the area came across two bodies on sand dunes in the area on Thursday.

The third body was discovered by police later in the day.

Police have not ruled out the possibility that it was a vigilante attack.

The board’s Hanif Loonat said that these crimes could not be allowed to go unchecked.
