An accident this morning on Fisher Road in Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal left three people injured.

It is believed that the accident happened when two vehicles swerved to avoid colliding with a pedestrian crossing the road.

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said ER24 paramedics were alerted to the scene and on our arrival we discovered on light motor vehicle sitting on the side of the road while the second vehicle was stationed in the middle of the road.

“Upon assessment paramedics found that both drivers as well as a pedestrian has sustained minor to moderate injuries in the collision, fortunately no one has sustained any serious injuries.” Meiring said.

Meiring added that we treated the patients and transported them to hospital for further treatment.

The exact details to the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
