Western Cape government working to make operating a business easier

The Western Cape government has partnered with municipalities to introduce initiatives that will make it easier to do business in the Cape.

The Red Tape Reduction interventions include reducing approval times for building plans and moving application processes online.

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronwynne Jooste said the Western Cape government Red Tape Reduction Unit has worked with municipalities to come up with a range of projects to make it easier to do business in the Western Cape.

Jooste said these initiatives have halfed approval time for building plans in some municipalities and in others it has resulted in business support services being offered to residents.

Jooste added that Minister Winde has commended the municipalities and he said this is a great example of their commitment to reducing Red Tape to grow their community.
