The Housing Development Agency has provided new accommodation for a Cape Town mother of four.
The 28-year-old woman was given keys to her home on Wednesday but hours later she was ordered to vacate the house.
Andrea Ferguson went to the City of Cape Town on Thursday in search of answers
The Western Cape Department of Human Settlements’ Spokesperson Bruce Oom said that the confusion has now been cleared up.
Oom also said the misunderstanding came because she was living with her mother who had also applied for a housing subsidy.
Oom added that the contractor thought she was a dependent of her mother.
