Earlier this morning a man was struck by a train at Pinelands Station.
The details into the incident remain unclear.
One commuter confirmed that the person was hit while trying to cross the railway line.
When the commuter arrived at the station there was another train coming from the Cape Town direction.
People then started jumping onto the tracks as the train approached, that was when the train hit the man said the commuter.
