Two arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm in Mitchell’s Plain

Two suspects have been arrested for being in possession of unlicensed firearm during a search operation in Mitchell’s Plain today.

Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said police attached to the Mitchell's Plain SAPS were conducting searches in Symphony Walk, Town Centre, in Mitchell's Plain.

Rwexana said during the search two suspects, aged 28 and 24 years old were arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm.


The two suspects are expected to appear in the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrate Court on Monday.
