The Theewaterskloof municipality confirmed today that they made peace with residents from Villiersdorp following violent protests.
The municipality met with the police, the Villiersdorp Civic organisation and the co-operative governance and traditional affairs to try and stop the protesting.
On Monday the civic organisation handed over a memorandum of their demands.
Residents of Goniwe Park caused chaos the same day destroying public facilities and setting their community hall alight.
