SAMATU and stakeholders to help in fixing the healthcare system

The South African Medical Association Trade Union said it is important that doctors lead the way in ensuring that the healthcare sector provides quality health services for all South Africans.

SAMATU is working with stakeholders in health to help fix the healthcare system.

The unions General Secretary Dr Mahlane Phalane said we want to make sure that everyone, irrespective of any form of characterization, whether class, age or anything else, they need to get the healthcare service as and when it is needed.


“Our aim to is to make sure that we fix of which is broken, eliminate that of which is wasteful, make sure that we provide that of which is lacking and make sure that we provide effective and accessible healthcare for all” Phalane added.
