15 Arrested on Western Cape roads this weekend

At least 15 motorists have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in the Western Cape this past weekend.

One pedestrian was also killed on the N2 near Knysna.

Provincial traffic officials conducted 26 roadblocks and fines worth over R260,000 have been issued.


Provincial traffic's Jacques Mostert says about 6,381 vehicles were screened for speeding and 470 speeding offences were recorded
