Truck driver extricated from vehicle

Earlier today a truck driver had to be extricated from a vehicle following a crash at Pomona and Albatross roads in Kempton Park.

Paramedics and other emergency services attended to the incident.

Upon arrival, the emergency services found two trucks that collided.

The driver of one of the trucks, believed to be in his 40’s, was trapped in the vehicle.

Fire and Rescue from Kempton Park extricated the man from the truck with rescue tools.

It was found that he sustained moderate injuries and was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown.


Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
