The Congress Of The People (COPE) has asked that police hand a case against Former SABC COO, Hlaudi Motsoeneng to the Hawks.

The political party lodged a complaint with police against Motsoeneng, claiming he wrongly sold SABC archives to entertainment company MultiChoice.

COPE spokesperson Dennis Bloem also claimed that Motsoeneng illegally disposed of key state assets without the authorisation of the SABC board and should therefore be dealt with.
