Man crashes into house

A man lost control of the vehicle he was driving and crashed into a house wall in Rautenbach Street, in Carletonville, late last night and is in a critical state.

It’s reported that the man went over a pavement and through a fence before crashing into the house.

There was extensive damage to the house and the front of the vehicle.

According to reports Fire and Rescue had to use the jaws of life to extricate the patient from the vehicle. 

Upon assessment of the patient, paramedics found that he sustained multiple severe injuries.

He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.


Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
