COSATU urges workers to march for decent work

The Congress of South African Trade Unions has called on workers across the country to down tools and join its planned march for decent work on Friday.

This is the day chosen by workers internationally as a day to highlight burning issues affecting them.

The labour federation will hold marches in all the nine provinces and it hopes to use the event to also demand the banning of labour brokers and the scrapping of e-tolls.

Cosatu says its action in South Africa will focus on the economy and the creation of decent jobs.
