In a statement this morning, Deputy President Cyril
Ramaphosa said he offers his “moral and political support” to Finance Minister
Pravin Gordhan.
Ramophosa is the third member of the executive who publicly
announced support for Gordhan who faces charges of fraud and theft.
Derek Hanekom, Minister of Tourism and Economic Development
Minister Ebrahim Patel, also came out in support of Gordhan.
