Boat overturned and injured 6

This morning six people were injured when their boat overturned on the Amanzimtoti main beach, KwaZulu Natal.

It is understood that the boat overturned after it was hit by a large wave.

Emergency serivices arrived on the scene and found the six patients on the beach being tended to by the lifeguards.

All six patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries. No serious or fatal injuries were reported.

Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to Kingsway Hospital for further treatment.
