The City of Tshwane says it hopes to restore water in some parts of Laudium and Atteridgeville in Pretoria West today.

The areas have been without supply since Sunday after reservoir levels dropped.

Over 10 water tankers have brought in to affected areas.

The city’s Lindela Mashigo says The City of Tshwane hopes that water will be restored fully in the early hours once the reservoirs have had time to recover during the night time.

This is as a result of water supply restrictions imposed by Rand Water and not service interruption.
