The National Press Club is outraged by what it describes as Malema’s lack of respect for journalists.
Chairperson Yusuf Abramjee says, however they cannot sit back and watch their Journalists being racial abused.
“We called a summit this afternoon with Editors and Senior Political reporters in Santon, Johannesburg to discuss a possible news boycott against Malema,” he said.
Abramjee adds today’s discussion will also include general abuse of the media by Julius Malema and ANCYL.
The NPC says it also believe that all the journalist at the yesterday’s briefing should have walkout in solidarity.
Meanwhile, the Youth League leader says he is not "remorseful" about what he did.
Malema chased out a BBC journalist Jonah Fisher at a media briefing at Luthuli House in Johannesburg yesterday.
