Police authorities say they are well prepared for any occurrence at the Ventersdorp Magistrate’s Court in the North West province tomorrow.
Hawks spokesperson Musa Zondi says they are fully prepared to deal with the crowds expected to attend when the two farm workers accused of murdering Afrikaans right-wing leader Eugene Terreblanche have their formal bail hearing.
Tensions flared at the last court appearance of the two accused, aged 15 and 28, forcing police to separate white and black groups with razor wire.
Meanwhile, the media will get their say before the bail hearing tomorrow when arguments will be heard to allow journalists to view the proceedings, which were previously going to be held behind closed doors.
Journalists say they will protect the identity of the 15-year old boy who stands accused as he is protected under the new Child Justice Act because he is a minor.
