Eight suspects have been arrested for their implication in the murder of two youths in Khayelitsha.
The deceased had been walking in A Block yesterday when they were approached by the group. They tried to run away, but the suspects caught up them.
“It is alleged that the deceased’s were walking in A Block when they were approached by a group of young men, who chased and caught them. The suspects thereafter assault and stabbed them with knifes. They died on the scene,” said Constable Mthokozisi Gama
Lingelethu West Police are investigating a case of murder.
Police immediately commenced with their investigation and used all possible tools in their power to assist with the investigation process and they managed to arrest eight suspects.
The suspects, between the ages of 15 and 22 years old,are in police custody and will appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate’s Court on charges of murder.
