The Western Cape Department of Health will
be conducting an upgrade of R12.5 million to the Kleinvlei Community Day
Centre.
Patients have been complaining about long
waiting times and long lines.
Ministerial Spokesperson Helene Rossouw said
the construction of the first phase will start in July 2015.
Rossouw said Minister Botha introduced new
upgrades as the centre is under pressure holding more people than its actual
capacity. The upgrades are set to be completed by the middle of 2016.
