Two girls left critical after being hit by a car in KZN

An accident this morning on the N2 Old Airport Road in KwaZulu Natal has left two girls 14 and 15-years-old in a critical condition. 

This is after the two girls were hit by a car. 

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said when paramedics arrived on the scene they found the two girls lying on the side of the road.  When they were assessed paramedics found that the girls were in a critical condition.

Meiring said paramedics provided the patients with advanced life support before they were transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
