The Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution has requested a copy of the Inter-Governmental Agreement on a Strategic Partnership and Cooperation in Nuclear Energy and Industry.

Minister of Energy Tina Joemat-Pettersson signed a deal with Russia on the side-lines of the 58th session of the UN General Assembly of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

CASAC’s Lawson Naidoo said I have requested a copy of the Inter-Governmental Agreement on a Strategic Partnership and Co-operation in Nuclear Energy and Industry.

“CASAC is concerned whether proper and appropriate procurement and other approval processes have been followed in respect of this Agreement Naidoo added.
