Six dead in KZN taxi crash

Paramedics said six people died and nine people were injured on Saturday, when a minibus taxi overturned and rolled down an embankment of about 30 metres on the P262 in Izingolweni on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.

Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said paramedics arrived and found the minibus lying on the embankment.

Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said after assessment of all the occupants of the minibus, it was found that there were fifteen occupants in the minibus.

“The injured people were treated on the scene before they were taken to hospital Steinmann added.
