The South African Banking Risk Information Centre has warned the banking details scam has resurfaced again.

SABRIC CEO Kaylani Pillay said the bank customers must be wary when being told that a certain supplier has changed their banking details and must verify if the details have changed.

Pillay said bank customers receive emails that state that their banking details have changed.

“It is very important that people need to make sure that private information pertaining banking details are secure” Pillay added.
