The Public Transport Voice has welcomed the announcement by the Transport Portfolio Committee

The Public Transport Voice has welcomed the announcement by the Transport Portfolio Committee regarding sending away the department of transport due to unpreparedness and inaccurate information.

This week the department briefed the committee on transport issues however the Committee’s Chairperson was not impressed by the presentation and said it is unacceptable that members should be given wrong information.

PTV’s Zingisani Nkanjeni said it is unacceptable that members would be given wrong information. Once the information is in front of the Committee it becomes a public document.
