Polokwane pedestrian crash leaves man dead

A pedestrian died in Polokwane this morning on Munnik Road after he was knocked over a motor vehicle. 

 
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said the man died on the scene due to the severe injuries that he had sustained. 

Steinmann said Paramedics arrived on the scene and found the lifeless body of the man lying on the roadway after he was knocked over by a BMW motor vehicle.

Steinmann said there was nothing that paramedics could do for the man as he already succumbed due to the extensive injuries he had sustained, prior to their arrival.

“Police are currently investigation the cause of the accident and preceding events Steinmann added.
