Health says there is still a shortage of chronic medication across the country.
This shortage affected a wide
range of medications which include heart conditions and high cholesterol. The shortage
of chronic medication is causing a major strain on health facilities and staff.
The departments Marika
Champion said the department is doing their best to address the shortage and to
provide patients with all the medical care including the medication that they
need.
Patients are urged to go to
their closest facilities and bring this, to the attention of the facility Manager
