Today, Democratic Alliance leader, Mmusi Maimane will visit Marikana, following the release of the report by the Farlam Commission of inquiry.

The leader will be joined by the DA North West leaders, including provincial leader Joe McGluwa.

Spokesperson to DA leader Mabine Seabe said, Maimane will be articulating the steps that the DA is taking to ensure that justice is on their side. Seabe added that, “we demand compensation to be given to the widows of the miners”.

We want to ensure that the community of Marikana finds closure in this matter, Seabe added.
