Three suspects are expected to appear in court soon after they were arrested and charged for being in possession of suspected stolen goods in Mangaung.

The three suspects aged between 19 and 24-years-old were found with copper wire to the street value of R500 000.

Sergeant Fikiswe Matoti said police from Kagisanong were conducting an operation when they received an urgent call from 10 111 informing them about the three males who were busy cutting copper wire near Vista University in Church Street, Bloemfontein.

Matoti added that the police rushed to the scene and caught the three in the act.

“The three males tried to escape but the police gave chase and they were apprehended.” Matoti concluded.
