IFP National Chairman Blessed Gwala said the minister is playing cheap politics and is trying to deceive Nkandla residents to think that the Nkandla Local Municpality is dysfunctional.

Gwala said we are surprised that it is the Minister misleading the people of South Africa and the people of Nkandla by saying that the fault is with the Municipality while the service provider which is the District Municipality of UThungulu which is led by the ANC.

“We are also surprised that the Minister of Water affairs also assured the people of Nkandla that there will be a dam that will be built by 2017” Gwala added.
