12 February 2015
There is a buzz in the air,
online and between congested roads as preparations are underway for the eagerly
anticipated State of Nation Address
tonight.
Policy objectives and
deliverables for the year ahead are expected to be addressed by Zuma in his
speech at Parliament in Cape Town
this evening.
Ahead of that, Bush radio
correspondents are at parliament to keep us informed on what’s happening out
and about in Parliament and what to expect for SONA 2015.
BushRadio’s news correspondent
Mbasa Gqokoma said: “Today is the day South Africa has been looking
forward to. Everything seems to be in order, the public is here, media
institutions are here, and security officials deployed almost everywhere.”
Gqokoma said : "Everyone seems to be excited about tonight’s proceeding."
"Everyone is patiently
waiting for the ministers, visitors, dignitaries and mostly the arrival of the
president Jacob Zuma." Gqokoma added.
