The Presidency said President Jacob Zuma is looking forward to a fruitful discussion at the African Union Summit with Heads of State today.

President Zuma said the infrastructure development is taken seriously in South African and work in all provinces and municipal metros is coordinated through the Presidential Infrastructure Coordinating Commission led by the President.

The Presidency’s Harold Maloka said the President has said that the infrastructure investments spending has quadrupled and exports have increased and Africa is receiving a growing share on the foreign direct investment.

Maloka added that therefore, it is not surprising that infrastructure development took centre stage at the World Economic Forum to fit in the African Union Summit.
