The Western Cape Department of Education said it is offering various support programmes and resources for matric candidates who qualify to write supplementary examinations.

This as more than 6 000 candidates have enrolled for the National Senior Certificate Supplementary Examinations which starts on the 16th of February to the 24th of March.

Ministerial Spokesperson Jessica Shelver said: “All learners who qualified for the supplementary exams would have received report from the WCED, they would’ve received the supplementary exam time table, and they would’ve received past examination papers as well as answer memorandums and for those learners we also have video supports on the website, we have extra tuition classes, the schedules are available on the website.”

Shelver continues to say we also provide lessons for candidates to write their examinations via Telematics. All the details are on the WCED website.”
